After the meal, truly one of the most memorable of my life, Zu's husband brought me back to Sapa on his motorbike, which was parked a considerable way down the mountain. Zu was off to collect her two youngest daughters from school so that the three of them could walk back to Sapa in hopes of selling their hand sewn goods in the Friday night market.
